I’ve been training in Vermont for about a week now. After traveling from Russia to Munich last Sunday after the race, we then flew home from Munich last Monday. I came home to some perfect winter conditions and some powdery tracks. Something we don’t always have this time of year in Vermont. So for the past few days I’ve been hanging out at home and working my way back into some good training. During this two week break before US Nationals we’re going to try to get in a little bit more volume and training to try to peak for the later races of the season. I met up with the stratton team at wild wings on Saturday and we did some long 15 min. lv. 3 intervals, fallowed by an OD yesterday. A lot of my skier buddies are back in town for the holidays too. Gus came down to our house for a few nights on his way to meet up with some guys at the Patriots game. I didn’t head down to Boston so i just hung out up here at Ethans house and watched the game and met up with some old friends in Manchester

Today the family and I are on our way down to the Phillidelphia area to spend Christmas with my moms side of the family. We’ll just me down there for two days so I’ll have to take one of those days as an off day from training and the other as a running day. sorry for the short lame update but check beck in a few days for more on how I’ll be preparing for Nationals. oh.. and here’s a picture of the most famous fat cat in the world.
