Sorry that it has been so long since an update. I have been taking a little break from spending too much time in front of the computer lately. I’ve spent the last two weeks at home in Vermont getting into some good training and hanging out with the old crew again. It has been a wicked nice spring so far out east and after spending so much time on the road this spring it was awesome to be back.1.jpg

I had a sweet couple weeks getting in some New England activities before heading back out to camp. Gus Kaeding, Ryan Foster, and Jess and I made it down to Fenway to see Lester pitch a no hitter which was rad. Memorial day weekend was also pretty full of VT activities. Foster had a huge party at his now house. We spent an afternoon clearing land for one of the most massive bon fires I’ve ever seen. The thing burned for like 4 days and almost caught all of Andover on fire.11.jpg  Foster yard pre party

They also recently bought an RV so we spent Sunday driving around to different parties and shoe tournaments with a big crew in the back shooting fireworks out of the windows. Luckily we made it thought the weekend without the po-po giving us any problems. newell-shoes.jpg Throwin Shoes

On Sunday I made my way from VT to bend for a 10 day on snow camp with the US team. So far the skiing was been great except for yesterday when we got hammered with wind and rain up on the mountain. There was even an inch or two of new snow that fell last night. We had a good sprint TT workout today and there were a lot of people that jumped in to make it a fun work out. Guys like Lars are in town training so we got to ski with them too. I don’t have any good pics of skiing yet but check back in a day or two and I’ll have a Bend camp update. later

    Andy!
Sounds very familiar! reading this bit of color reminds me (Andrew Kastning’s dad)… how glad I am that Ethan and Andrew managed to live together for 2 years and not commit some heinous/felonious act of irretrievable consequences. They did manage to get in legal trouble in the fall of Andrew’s senior year over a huge party. It was Lowell’s bluegrass band that put that one over the top attracting way too many freshman girls! As Andrew’s girlfriend observed, “Those boys would sit on the couch at night egging each other on…dreaming up all these big schemes, but unlike other guys, they actually did them!” Glad you had a chance to let your hair down at the Foster Bros. in the midst of your high intensity life!
