Without a chance to race this weekend it has been a long week of training here in Davos. I have been fighting a cold since wednesday so I had to take a day off, but was able to still get in some good distance training in by the end of the week. Today was our off day and I’m feeling much better and ready to tackle the race week and prepare for this weekends world cups races. We haven”t been doing a whole lot other than training this weeks, but we are still able to head into town each day and kick it in Davos. there have been a ton of poeple in town and we have our usual coffee shop that we hang out in every afternoon. It has been nice to have the ‘at home’ feeling of the hotel kulm over the past week. We even celebrated their annual staff christmas party with everyone here last night. it was a pretty fun dinner with the owners of the hotel along with some folks that have been working here for over 30 years. It was a family style meal and we were allowed into the back kitchen to serve ourselves and clean up the dishes too.  Should have some more exciting posts by the time the weekend rolls around.
