Best ski of all time:
Skiing in St.Martin, Italy and then going for lunch and coffee on the ski trails. A close second is skiing at Pocaterra in Kananaskis Country, AB last year on perfect classic track -5, blue extra. And the runner up would be spring skiing at Silverstar last May and then going suntanning and mountain biking in the Afternoon in Vernon.
Favourite Quote of the moment:
“Human greatness begins where submission to fear ends. You cannot become wealthy like Bill Gates without first casting aside the fear that you will fail, without risking capital and prestige. You cannot become a Winston Churchill if you are intimidated by the evil power that you must fight. You can’t get a college degree if you’re afraid of taking tests, and you can’t win an Olympic gold medal if you’re afraid of losing a race. It is courage, not caution that leads to great success.”
What I’m listening to:
The Honorary Title, Kate Voegle, Snow Patrol, Citizen Cope, Common, Dixie Chicks, Fall Out Boy, Silverspun Pickups, Chillipeppers, Wil, J.Lo, Low Vs. Diamond, RjD2, Matthew Good Band, Planet Smashers, Jack Johnson, G Love, The Bravery, Vampire Weekend, Remy Zero, Phantom Planet, Reel Big Fish, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Dixie Chicks, Sugarland
Do something Everyday that Scares you:
I love running down mountains and pushing the envelope of being out of control. Last summer I had a few close calls! Better yet, I like watching boys try to follow me down a mountain or trail…they usually can’t.

We are so very proud of you, Brooke! This a great way for those of us not educated in the “cross country skiing” world to gain a better understanding of your sport. Thanks for your openness and passion. You are incredibly inspiring. Love your quote. LOVE YOU!!! xoxo
