It was a sweet day in the NE Kingdom, the sun was shining and the weather was just cold enough to feel like good old winter. Everyone was in a good mood after learning about Liz Stephen’s DOMINATION at U23s! Some progressive snowfall over the last couple days have made it hard to keep tracks in place for skiing so it meant some quality time on the alpine hill. Corinne and I took several runs on Wednsday, lets just say my legs felt it at the end of the day! Powder skiing can be rough on the quads to say the least! Some of the team is gearing up for Anchorage and the others are pursuing other exciting races such as the gnarly Mt. Washington race which includes 6ks of straight uphill! Teo Jackson will compete this weekend in the Rangeley Marathon, skiing 50ks of Rangelys toughest terrain. A time trial at Craftsbury with GMVS and CNSC will keep us ready for racing, these tend to get a bit intense we’ll have to keep you updated on that… for now heres a video of our sprint trails on campus! GO LIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!
