Bio: I started with Burke when Matt Whitcomb decided to move on to the
US Team. We had worked together in Montana and had stayed in contact
through four years of a summer trip to Sweden that we did with Sun
Valley’s Abi Holt, and cooperative camps in West Yellowstone. Burke is
an awesome place to work and the support for training opportunities
can’t be beat. One of the things that my experiences over the years have
rewarded me with is knowing athletes and coaches from one coast to the
other and on the other side of the Atlantic. That lets me and Burke
engage in a lot of fun and constructive exchanges. Watching those grow
into faster racing and lifelong friendships is the best reward out there.

Bio: I grew up sailing, swimming and skiing on the Coast of Maine, but I
currently live, train and study in the upper Northeast Kingdom of
Vermont. I have been skiing since I was 2 years old and grew to love the
sport over numerous ski trips to Mt. Saint Anne, Quebec with a slew of
families from the greater Portland area. I play frisbee, baseball and
football to mix it up a little and am a member of the Coastal Soccer fan

Bio: I am a full time dance instructor and a part time skier. I like
grinding and slow dancing and just bustin’ out. I love Valentines Day and I
always pick the best Valentines. I have gone roller skiing twice in my

Bio: Caitlin is a post-graduate at Burke, she switched from Alpine 2
years ago, at the end of her junior year after a lot of knee injuries
and many years of pressure from the nordic team. She has been at Burke
for 6 years and still loves it but will definitely be ready to leave
after this year. Caitlin will be going to Bates next year and she is
very excited about this. She spends her summers mountain bike racing
(she has NOT been in the Olympics) and working on an organic berry farm
in the middle of nowhere. She also enjoys shopping and going to cafés.

Bio: I grew up in Fairport, NY. I started skiing with my parents when I
was three. I started racing Bill Koch when I got older. Then I got onto
the Fairport Varsity Ski Team when I was in seventh grade. I trained on
own through senior year, graduated with Fairport and I am now doing a PG
year at Burke. I raced Cross Country running as well as Track in high
school. My biggest hobby is Mountain Biking. I work at a home town bike

Bio: I grew up in Fayetteville, NY, skiing at Highland Forest County Park. After two years of graduate school in Physics and intensive Nordic training at Kansas State University, I started a series of PG years at GMVS. After thirteen years I was still not making any progress towards my goal of making the USST. Subsequently, this is my first year as a PG at BMA. Teaching Physics, Algebra 1 and Winter Term Science at the academy helps me pay my tuition.
