About

The Callaghan Valley Training Center is a National Athlete Development Centre (NADC) which is a high performance center working within the framework of Cross Country Canada.
Our mission is to place regional athletes on the National Team while providing them personal growth opportunities and conducting regional outreach programs.

Our primary goal is to build a successful high performance training centre and a skiing culture in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor. In pursuit of this primary goal, we’re currently working on establishing these five pillars of success:
• Program Support - Performance Enhancement Team (PET) - the best medical, scientific, technical and coaching support available.
• Athlete Services - Subsidized housing, education and employment opportunities.
• Facilities and Equipment - Unparalleled training and conditioning facilities including: Olympic ski trails, paved rollerski loops and lights, state of the art gymnasium and testing facility.
• Coaching Development and Support - Ensuring that the coaching staff is continually improving their skills and getting the support they need.
• Competition Event Hosting - World Class Competition Hosting in order to get the best athletes coming to and competing in our area.
