A Nordic Wedding in Pink & Platnium

On May 16, 2008 I tied the knot with Canadian skier Jeff Ellis at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.  The weather had been cold and cloudy all week, but fortunately (almost cosmically) the clouds pulled back just in time for our ceremony, bringing out Mt. McKinley (North America’s highest peak) as our backdrop.  Erik Flora, our APUNSC ski coach, married us in front of a group of our closest friends and family.  We then proceeded to party the night away at the lodge, while the sun never completely set.  It was an amazing day!!
