God Jul!

“Merry Christmas!” It’s great to be home for the holidays and to catch up with friends and family. Since my last post, I have been busy with a week of qualifying races at Mt. Itasca, taking a final exam for Lillehammer College, and enjoying all the fresh snow that we’ve received here in Minnesota.

Julebord, og tid til å reise hjem…

Well, I just finished packing my bags for the flight back to Minnesota. I’m definitely looking forward to catching up with friends and family, but I will miss my Norwegian friends and the perfect skiing here in Lillehammer. Yes, I agree this seems a little early to return home for the holidays, but there are some qualifying races at Mt. Itasca that could provide me with the opportunity to do some international racing this January. However, there are still many good times and quality races to be had here in Lillehammer, so it’s good to know that I’ll be returning in less than a month. While I’m home, it will be fun to share what I’ve learned here in Norway, and to compare my training with those back home.
