Ciao Everyone,
Everything is good, eh? Well yesterday was Mother’s Day so that is important and I hope that everyone did nice things for their mothers. My Mother works all the time to take care of me and makes he best food in he world. Thus, I am a Momma’s Boy, but I feel it is warranted, because of all her love for me. Yesterday, I also won my first ever solitaire game ever. It was a big deal for me.
My weekend was excellent. I race a 2 day three stage bike race in Boise and came away with two stage wins and the overall win. I was also race a sweet Emmet-Roubaix two weeks ago, and was able to take the victory there. It was a great race with dirt road and some good climbs. It is great to start the season off with the momentum. Probably the coolest part of my weekend was hearing two guys saying, “Yeah some little sh*$#t from Sun Valley took it. Whatever, I heard he is a Nordic Skier, so he trains in the winter.” Thanks Nordic Skiing!!! I appreciate the fitness. When I got home from Boise, I ate dinner, and put on a suit and went to prom. It was nice, and the dancing was definitely a third workout of the day. Plus, I played the drums the senior band, which was crazy cause I had no idea what I was doing. The original drummer was having “problems.”
I leave tomorrow for Mt. Hood Cycling Classic. It is brutal. Four days, with a lot of miles and climbing. I look forward though. Here are some pics from the weekend!!!

An athlete who loves his mother - always a sign of good character! Good luck at Mt. Hood.
