Four to NCAAs

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

After a hard-fought qualifying season the Nanooks will be sending four skiers (two men and two women) to the NCAA National Championships in Steamboat Spring Colorado, March 10-13. The maximum number of skiers who can qualify from any one cross country squad is six (three men and three women).

Senior Aurelia Korthauer will be making her third appearance at NCAAs. She took 5th place in the 15 km free technique event in 2007 in New Hampshire. Sophomore Theresia Schnurr earned her second trip in as many years. She took 13th in last season’s 5 km classical in Maine.

It will be the first for both junior John Parry and freshman Tyler Kornfield.
