Snow!

Friday, November 21st, 2008

Well it’s been a little while since we’ve blogged… it’s that time of year when the training is important but the weather can get in the way which can make it tough on everyone.  We’ve been pretty fortunate with the group we have this year and the weather this fall.  Despite a long dryland season attitudes are good and everyone is excited to ski Sunday.  We are headed to Salmon Hills, New York to ski at an alum’s touring center.  The snow is going to be good and there will be a bunch of other teams in the area this week so we won’t be alone!

I have added some pictures to the Picasa gallery from the last couple of weeks.  Here’s a few samples… enjoy!

When I think about what I’m passionate about in life, skiing and Shakespeare both rank pretty high on the list. Believe it or not, these interests are often interwoven in my life, as I relate Prince Hal’s battle against the French to the UVM vs. Dartmouth rivalry, or quote a sonnet or two as we cruise through the fields at Trapp Family Lodge on a crisp February morning.
