Justyna KOWALCZYK was telling the world feed interviewer after the womens' race that "the snow was slow, that is good for me". She just crushed on the last couple of uphills going back to the stadium. It looked to me watching the video of the last 5 km that except for the one women teams like kowalczyk from Poland and Shevcenko from the Ukraine the skiers from each nation seem to finish close to each other. Look at how the Russians and Germans are all bunched up. Kristin Steira and Astrid Jacobsen basically skied together the whole race. Which wax servicemen were doing the skis for which nations? I just knew the last 2 weeks that the flatter Central Division trails at Houghton weren't going to cut it as preparation for Canmore!
