Day Two and Three from the Craftsbury SuperTour

Women’s 5 k Skate

The SuperTour from Craftsbury, Vermont continued on Saturday with the women and men contesting interval start skate events. Caitlin Gregg (Team Gregg/prgFinancial/Madhus) won the women’s race in 13:47.4. In second place, another venerable veteran on the SuperTour, was Erika Flowers in 13:56.4. The next two spots were secured by college skiers. Sophia Lauki (Middlebury) placed third in 14:06.6), and Katharine Ogden (Dartmouth) fourth in 14:08.4).

Men’s 10 k Skate

Ben Lustgarten (CGRP) won the men’s 10 k skate in 25:15.2. Kyle Bratrud (SMS T2) was second in 25:17.7, and Zane Fields (Gear West/Lyme Elite Team) third in 25:40.7).

Sunday was mass start classic day in Craftsbury. 

Women’s 10 k Mass Start Classic

Ogden took the women’s overall win in 31:18.4, followed closely in second by Kaitlynn Miller (CGRP) in 31:21.1. Canada’s Andree-Anne Theberge (Laval) was third in 31:24.5. She beat out Rosie Frankowski (APU) at the line, who placed fourth 0.4 seconds back.

Men’s 15 k Mass Start Classic

Lustgarten once again claimed the win in the men’s 15 k mass start classic. He won in a time of 40:10.9. Bratrud was second in 40:27.0, and Hunter Wonders (APU) third in 40:33.4.
